This was an original play by Betty Ellington Smith and the perfect play for me. I played a young innocent guy who comes to Hollywood seeking fame and fortune as an actor. Sound familiar? Well, all except the innocent part. He takes a room and falls in love with an older cynical woman who's given up on life.

A really challenging emotional piece full of drama and comedy and a tragic ending.

We worked our butts off to get this piece together in record time and I don't think I slept for those few weeks. But it was a real crowd pleaser and well worth it.
