Theatre: Fremont Center Theatre Director: George Shea Character: Robert (Supporting)
This was the first time I was ever on stage in public. Fresh out of acting class I auditioned for what I thought was going to be a "role" in a new play. I turned out to be a glorified usher.
I would show people to their seats to watch this "one man show". The actor then proceded to have a fake heart attack and I had to calm everyone down and pretend to deal with it. He then continued with the show and I sat around for two hours. At least it was interesting. Let's just say I know a lot about photocopier history now. This is also the first money I was ever payed for acting. I still have one of the checks framed and sitting on my shelf at home. |
