Theatre: Group Repertory Theatre
Director: Stan Mazin
Character: Madison (Leading)

Now, this was a fun production. Imagine Betty Davis (played by Stephen Foster - yes a man and also the playwright), Judy Garland, and Joan Crawford all in the same room together. Bitchy!! I played Betty's boy toy but played each woman off against the other in order to suit my own agenda.

Stan was a phenomenal director. It was a real pleasure to watch him work and find and stage all the comedic moments.

It was incredibly tough being on stage with such broad outrageous characters. I got slammed by our first review and ended up completely re-working my character. I developed a much stronger character than originally written and people seemed to really respond to the subtleties of the character (amongst the broad strokes so to speak). Self preservation at work!

This was my first "Matt" play and I took my mom. She loved it because these ol' gals were her era and I thought you were fab!
